Plastic Packaging Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) – Registration and Compliance
Effective Waste Management of Plastics is crucial in reducing the impact of plastic waste on the environment. Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) Registration aims to ensure that producers (primary waste generators) are responsible for the management of products packaging after they are no longer useful to consumers. Our objective is to provide an efficient end to end system from collection, segregation and recycling of plastic waste at our SPCB approved plastic recycling facility.
We are Registered PWP (Plastic Waste Processor) with the State Pollution Control Board for Issuing Online EPR Credits (Cat I, Cat II and Cat III) through On-line Centralized Portal developed by Central Pollution Control Board and MoEFCC.
What is EPR?
EPR means that producers are responsible for managing the waste created by their products after consumers finish using them. This helps reduce waste and supports recycling efforts.
Why is EPR important?
EPR helps protect the environment by making sure waste is collected and recycled properly. It encourages companies to design products that are easier to recycle.
Who should follow EPR?
Manufacturers, Importers, Brand owners, and Sellers of products like plastic packaging and electronics need to follow EPR rules.
How to comply with EPR?
